Taking part in the virtual ‘Opportunities Doncaster’ careers event on Wednesday 19th May, Unipart Rail joined a number of local businesses in raising aspirations by inspiring over 3,000 students to consider a career in rail, transport and logistics.
Opportunities Doncaster is the education arm of the Chamber that brings business and education together to grow, develop and retain talent within Doncaster. In a unique and aspirational careers event, Opportunities Doncaster LIVE provides students with the chance to meet professionals from a variety of roles and industries across Doncaster to get advice on how to kick start their career.
We led a number of employer-led talks speaking to students across Doncaster about the diverse range of a career opportunities available at Unipart Rail and Karen Beardsley, Unipart Rail Operations Managing Director and Dan McLaughlin, Business Management Graduate took part in a live Q&A session discussing the different routes of entry into Unipart Rail and the rich training and development schemes available to help young people kick-start their careers in our forward-thinking organisation.
