Unipart Rail’s position in the Supply Chain means that we are constantly looking to bring new innovation to the industry. This involves supporting and working in partnership with suppliers, SME's, Universities and other industry stakeholders to deliver new technology and innovation to global markets. We also assist technology transfer to businesses that are new to the sector to ensure that innovations are guided to meet key industry criteria, and approvals working with various industry bodies and our vast partner networks.

Our supply chain solutions also provide the delivery route for new innovations to be marketed to the industry both in the UK and overseas.

Our stand in the UKRRIN area will show through our Augmented Reality App some of the products we have brought to market, and visitors with products to launch will be able to find out how we can help them. Our second stand in the main area will feature innovation from both Park Signalling and Unipart Dorman. We'll be showing Park Signalling's DiBloC and Technician's Terminal - both essential in keeping SSI systems operational - and Unipart Dorman's Shunt signal developed for London Underground and their 'Flagging Lantern' for use in possession operational areas.

 

We'll also have our 'Augmeted reality' interactive train at the event so you can see how many of our innovations are used in real life on trains and the infrastructure.
