LED Wayside Signal Module Series from Unipart Dorman
04 October 2017 11:46:10

Attended by nearly 9,000 Industry professionals from around the globe, the show is the largest combined railway exhibition and technical conference in North America, showcasing the latest technology, services, and research, as well as technical presentations and discussions from:

  • Railway Supply Institute (RSI)
  • Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA)
  • Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. (RSSI)
  • American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA)
  • Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA)

The show was a tremendous success. With the support of our strategic partner Modern Railway Systems, all of the key industry policy makers we targeted came to see and learn about the new products we were demonstrating on the booth.

The engineering community are already engaging with the new technology and seeking more information which the team are supporting closely.

During the show the team promoted a range of signalling technologies, including:

  • WaySIDE range (SearchLITE, ColorLITE & LEDMech)
  • New FL360 Flagging Lantern
  • Toronto Signal
  • Virtual Lineside Signalling (VLS from Park Signalling)
  • SPARTA (The portable relay test unit from Unipart Rail's Manufacturing division)

FL360

The FL360 flagging lantern maintains the functionality and performance of the original lantern, with new additional features including flexible mounting options, best in class run times and moulded side eyelets.

Virtual Lineside Signalling (VLS) by Park Signalling

Is a lower cost centralized signaling solution for secondary and rural lines, reducing the requirement for trackside infrastructure and ongoing maintenance.

SPARTA - Standardized Portable Automatic Relay Test Apparatus

This portable test unit is designed by Unipart Rail and allows preliminary testing of line and track signaling relays. It confirms the basic condition of a relay before it is inserted into a circuit and assists in establishing the root cause of signaling failures prior to replacing relays.
