Unipart Rail Achieves 45001 Safety Certification

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have achieved BSI 1SO 45001 for all our office, warehousing and manufacturing sites in Unipart Rail.

Covering our Doncaster HQ and Distribution Centre, Weedon Distribution Centre, Crewe Service Centre, Westcode, Samuel James Engineering and Unipart Dorman, this award is a testimony to the work of every single member of the team putting health and safety first, and continuing to drive improvements to keep everyone safe as well.

Liz Hancock, Head of Safety, Health and Environment at Unipart Rail said "The assessment is incredibly tough and requires us to look deeply at our processes and approach to safety, assessing them against extremely high international standards. I am so proud of our team as when we undertook the assessment we found that we were already working to a very high level of safety across our operations. We have identified areas where we can go even further than the standard requires to ensure that we are always doing our best."

All our customers, suppliers and partners can be assured that we will continue to improve our safety performance even further.

This award builds on our recent Sword of Honour award by the British Safety Council.
