Unipart Rail's Colin Smith McGloin will be speaking at the Intelligent Rail Summit in Konstanz in Germany on 17th November.

The event, which runs from 16-17 November, brings together experts under the theme of cutting cost without cutting corners: Asset management, monitoring and the use of data in times of turmoil, and is an essential visit for all rail companies facing challenges of delivering excellence to rail passengers and freight operators in difficult economic times.

Colin, who is Unipart Rail's expert in condition monitoring technologies said "Increasingly, rail operators are finding that small infrastructure problems are having big impacts on service reliability either through speed restrictions or complete closure whilst problems are rectified. We have a range of technologies which give early warnings and enable preventative work to be completed before impacting train movements."
