The 4th Industrial Revolution underpins our business. Right across the Unipart Group we are implementing Digital systems in our own and our customers’ operations, as well as up-skilling our team with digital awareness and capabilities to drive change across the organisation and industry.

The Condition Based Supply Chain (CBSC) is our vision for the rail network - a solution that involves the seamless management of real-time data and information, combined with multiple data sources relating to the asset, to deliver increased operational efficiencies and maintenance savings.

CBSC draws on our position in the supply chain and our expertise in using sensors in CBM that turns data into actionable information to drive targeted maintenance, a highly responsive supply chain and continuous product and service improvement.

David McGorman - Unipart Rail & Manufacturing Technology Managing Director and Instrumentel, Managing Director, will be presenting on Condition Based Maintenance and the importance of Actionable Information:

  • Data acquisition and large number of Rail assets and the importance of understanding your data

  • Case studies showing how Condition Based Maintenance can create value, operational efficiencies and savings

  • How Condition Based Maintenance informs our Condition Based Supply Chain, creating a Digital dynamic supply chain of the future.

David will also be facilitating a round table discussion - "How can we measure the benefits of digitalisation within the railway industry?". So make sure you have your place booked at the conference.
