The Park Signalling team recently assisted the Network Rail signalling technical support team with the installation and commissioning of the MT04 replacement Solid State Interlocking (SSI) Technician’s Terminal product at Lincoln Signalling Control Centre, in the early hours of Sunday 12th May. This event marked the beginning of sales for an innovative product in demand across the UK network.
Network Rail has reissued the product acceptance certificate PA05/06371 for the MT04 replacement SSI Technician’s Terminal product at issue eight, dated 28th May 2019. This issue now includes the addition of serial ports for external logging, system printer and radio clock. This enables an interface with condition monitoring equipment already located around the UK network.
In addition, Park Signalling has received regular mentions in the Informed Sources column of Modern Railways magazine in the last two months in relation to our technical solutions in support of SSI across the UK network and for the foreseeable future.
