British Safety Council Award

We are thrilled to have been awarded a Distinction at the British Safety Council awards on 27th April.

The award, which recognises our outstanding work in improving safety in Manufacturing, was presented at the gala awards ceremony at the Grosvenor hotel, London.

Gareth Uden, Logistics Director for Unipart Rail said This award is accepted in the name of the hundreds of my colleagues who work every day to keep our offices, workshops and warehouses safe for all who work or visit. Without their engagement with safety, this fantastic award would not have been possible for us.

This award comes on top of our October 2017 5 Star Audits and 3 Swords of Honour, so this is additional recognition of our work to make our business the safest in the industry.

Unipart Logistics has also won the British Safety Council’s International Safety Award for setting world class approaches to health and safety in the transport and logistics sector.

Unipart Logistics and Unipart Rail were also two of only 13 companies globally to receive safety distinctions and Unipart North America received a merit.  To win these awards all the companies had to demonstrate a commitment to safety, wellbeing and showcase strong leadership across their sites.
