Since the early 1990s, RailSport has been encouraging railway staff to reignite their long-held hopes of sporting glory and compete to be crowned the industry’s best.
Established by the British Rail Staff Association, The RailSport Games tournament has welcomed thousands of competitors from across the rail industry. The 2017 RailSport Games was held on 8th and 9th July at Loughborough University.
The Unipart Rail teams competed in a number of different sports including football, netball, rounders and cycling and were delighted to take home Silver and Bronze medals.
The rounders team won a Silver medal, playing against East Midland Trains, RSSB and Hitachi and the netball team won a Bronze medal, playing against East Midland Trains and Mavericks.
