ExCel Docklands may be a bit 'out of the way', but we certainly didn't feel it on the Unipart Rail/Unipart Dorman stand as we had a constant stream of visitors asking us about how our innovations - both in products and service - were being used in the railway.
The Assisted Lift Trunnion attracted lots of interest in how the spring mechanism removes the need for any winch or lifting device. SPARTA attracted engineers interested in how the pre-testing of relays before they are installed in the infratructure can reduce the chance of failure, and the Uni-Trace system was interesting to those who were had a role in asset management.
