Unipart Dorman’s approach to LED based vehicle activated traffic calming with VATCS is unique in North America.

The consistency and clarity of our approach and the long term benefits are something that we are very proud to be able share with our continually expanding client pool. Since introduction in 2009, the technology has been deployed across 16 US states and 5 Canadian provinces.

We recognise changing needs of the industry and understand that one size does not fit all. We offer custom made signs in a variety of styles, sizes and formats to meet the specific needs of our customers, all designed in accordance with MUTCD requirements.

It has been proven that the best way to change driver behaviour in relation to excessive speed is achieved when drivers receive a clear message that is targeted to them. VATCS are the only traffic calming display technology that has been federally field tested on a large scale to prove long term effectiveness, with driver respect of the technology being maintained over a 5 year period.
