Unipart Rail was delighted to be shortlisted for an award at the Greater China Awards 2017.
The awards, run by the Department for International Trade North West, are open to any organisations in North West of England that have made a significant contribution to developing business or collaborative innovation/partnership with mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and/or Taiwan.
Unipart Rail was shortlisted in the Rising Star Category, aimed at businesses who have had innovation and partnership with Greater China for less than 3 years. We were recognised for the work we have done within the Chinese rail market with local partner Poweria Technolgies, based in Shenzhen.
The EAPC Receiver by Unipart Rail is an innovative product, ideally suited to the Chinese rail market both for domestic use and also for use on Chinese rolling stock export projects across the world. It has been designed with a unique plug coupler that simplifies and accelerates the local maintenance process, saving the local railway maintainer valuable time and money.
