Value - Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Responsibility (CR) is more important now than it ever has been - and we're working hard to make sure we're amongst the best in the business.
And to demonstrate our comittment, we've produced a document that details some of the work we've done in our workplace, the community, the environment and the marketplace. You can read it here. This supports the Business in the Community (BiTC) Responsible Business Week which ends today.
And our most recent success as a Group has been the awarding by BiTC of a 5 star rating for the second year running - improving our score from 99% to 100%.
The Business in the Community index is highly regarded because of its rigor and the quality of the companies that participate. Last year, we achieved a 99% rating, so the improvement to a perfect score this year has been particularly exciting.
Earning full marks this year is a tribute to thousands of our people throughout Unipart who strive every day to live by the company’s principles and philosophy and build its culture.
It demonstrates that companies can achieve exceptional ratings for corporate responsibility while continuing to raise levels of productivity and deliver strong performance.
