Unipart Dorman awarded distinction in top International Safety Awards

Unipart Dorman has been awarded an International Safety Award with distinction by the British Safety Council, in recognition of our commitment to keeping our workers and workplaces healthy and safe during the 2014 calendar year.

This fantastic achievement clearly demonstrates our dedication and commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and highlights us as being amongst the best in the world for our approach to health and safety.

This year marks the 57^th year of the International Safety Award programme, which celebrates organisations from around the world that have demonstrated their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work related ill health.

Winners are drawn from a broad range of sectors and a wide range of countries, dealing with different challenges, risks and cultures. 514 companies successfully achieved the International Safety Award standard this year but only 29 met the highest standard and were awarded a distinction. In addition to Unipart Dorman, Unipart Group's UAL and UTL were also awarded with distinctions.

Our success was celebrated at The International Safety Awards Gala Dinner which took place on Friday 24th April at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
