Wayside Signal Opportunities Gather Pace

with New North America Website Launch

Tags: Improved Performance Increased Safety Innovative Solutions Manufacturing North America Signalling Unipart Dorman

Unipart Dorman is a brand that is synonymous with LED Signals in the UK, commanding a 95% share of all LED signals installed across the rail network and further recognized for the introduction of award winning industry firsts such as 'Zero Maintenance LED Signaling' and 'ILS - Integrated Lightweight Signaling'.

Our market research identified a major opportunity to translate this success overseas, however our homegrown track record was only going to get us so far.  We've invested time and resource into a five year plan of learning the ropes and establishing our credentials in North America, which culminated in the award of the supply of LED signals on the USRC LED re-signaling project, Toronto in 2017, which in turn provided a foundation to launch the new Wayside SIGNAL range.

Our recent attendance at RSSI Expo in Omaha proved to be a real success in raising further awareness of the new LED Wayside SIGNAL series and in conjunction with the show a fresh new look website also went live.

The arrival of our first in country Wayside SIGNAL inventory during July is very timely as demand for evaluation unit orders is continuing to grow as Railroads seek to assess an alternative solution from a company with an undisputed best in class track record in LED wayside signal reliability.
