Providing opportunities for young engineers

through our work Experience programme at our York Service Centre

At our Service Centre in York, we have an excellent Work Experience programme which has enabled us to work with some excellent and talented individuals, as well as providing us with the opportunity to establish strong relationships with local schools and colleges.

The programme is built around engineering, giving young people the opportunity to experience the role of an engineer.

In 2017, we provided over 200 hours of work experience for young people from York and the surrounding areas. We have a dedicated Work Experience Team in place that is responsible for running the programme, training individuals and providing support.

A number of people that have completed our work experience programme have gone on to join our business through our apprenticeship scheme. Details of this scheme can be found here.

If you are interested in finding our more about our Work Experience programme, please get in touch. You can download a copy of our Apprenticeship brochure here.
