Unipart Rail wins Rail Freight Innovation Award

Innovation and Technical Development Award won in combination with Freightliner.

Unipart Rail has won the Innovation and Technical Development Award at the 2017 Rail Freight Group annual awards in combination with Freightliner.  
 
The Award is for the creation of the new depot stores facility in Crewe based on a completely new operational model, called SmartServe, which in the opinion of the judges "showed how the companies were able to  demonstrate that the innovation has improved the service quality, productivity, cost-effectiveness and capacity of rail freight services".
