NOB operates a passenger rail service between Hamburg and Sylt in Northern Germany.  Their fleet of 90 locomotive-hauled coaches must now undergo a major revision.  NOB has contracted Unipart Rail to procure and deliver defined kits of parts for the coaches and bogies for delivery on a JIT basis to Neumünster, where Deutsche Bahn is undertaking the overhaul for NOB.

Unipart will procure parts from local German suppliers, arrange for the shipment to it’s European Distribution Centre in Belgium where the items will be packaged into kits for delivery.  Unipart will also hold selected “on condition” parts on stock, should these be required.
