During July 2013, Unipart Rail's 'Plug&Play' systems response to Network Rail's Modular Railway challenge was demonstrated at three Network Rail events.
At the Network Rail training school at Westwood, we had a display of location cases complete with the Unipart Rail designed and manufactured interface plates, together with our Plug&Play Disconnect Box and three of the Unipart Dorman LED signals.
The three signals were our Modular, iLS and CLSLite options, with the latter displayed on the Collis hinged post.
The same displays were also presented at the Network Rail Track and Plant event at Long Marston at the end of the month.
All three events enabled people to get hand-on with the signals and see just how simple the technology is to use 'in the field'.
