It is well recognized that Unipart Dorman is a market leader in this industry sector with over 95% of market share in the UK, but less well known that Unipart Dorman also have their fingerprints on a good portion of the high quality work zone LED barricade lamps in North America.
The UK based design team working closely with Dicke's Sales & Marketing Division will be bringing 5 new products to market in 2016:
- 6V LED Lamp - TLL8S
- AC4D-DB Type A/C
- B4DH-DB Type B (D-cell detachable battery base lamps for advance work zone signage warning applications, allowing the battery to be at ground level)
And two new solar lamps :
- D-cell AC4D-NL Type A/C combo
- D-cell B4DH-SL Type B
The solar lamps will be unique in that they don't follow the curent practice of providing a trickle charge to the D-cells, the lamps have a separate optimized solar battery cell designed into the lens circuitry, leaving the D-cells as back up for days when solar insolation is not available.
The new solar B4DH-SL Type B will set new industry standards in that it will only require 2 D-cells to be fitted to work all year round in any location in the USA with battery change out recommended only once every 12 months.
Dicke will be launching the new concept products at the ATSSA National Expo in New Orleans at booth 1127 from January 29th - February 2nd.
