Unipart Dorman
Councillors in King Township have requested for more Unipart Dorman speed feedback signs to be installed to solve their speeding problems. Signs have already been installed in Nobleton and King City as a result of residents complaining about excessive speeds.
Kingscross and Hazelbury Drive in Nobleton will each receive a minimum of 2 signs for a one year period.
The Unipart Dorman DF15 is deigned to educate drivers and make them aware of their speed by providing a clear warning message, encouraging them to change their behaviour and improve road safety.
The sign is MUTCD compliant and employs FCC compliant microwave Dopplar radar to detect the speed of approaching vehicles. The feedback message can be programmed to escalate in line with detected speed by introducing flashing beacons and Slow Down warning message.
For more information on the DF15 please visit our North American website here and download our data sheet here.
