Fundraising for The Railway Benefit Fund

Tags: Value - Corporate Social Responsibility

The Unipart Rail team recently hosted a highly engaging and successful Collaboration Dinner during Railtex 2017.

All the guests took part in the charity raffle to win a selection of prizes including spa days, driving experiences and afternoon tea at the Ritz, together we raised an impressive £1235 for The Railway Benefit Fund.

The Railway Benefit Fund is the only charity that solely supports current and former railway people and their families.

The Railway Benefit supports current and former railway staff and their dependants when they need help through illness, injury, bereavement, or adversity. Nobody can predict the future, and offering that peace of mind within your industry is a charity that may be able to help you.

The charity has been helping railway people for over 150 years, improving the quality of life of current and former railway people in the UK through the provision of customised support. Assistance is provided in many forms, on a short or long term basis and is specifically tailored to an individual’s situation.

If you find yourself in financial difficulty because of illness, injury, bereavement or adversity, please don’t hesitate to contact the RBF: welfare@railwaybenefitfund.org.uk

Unipart Rail are keen to continue to support RBF and their #BehindRBF campaign.
