ConeLITE Synchro was one of the show highlights, featuring in the new product showcase as one of the top 20 new innovations at the event. As the only cone mounted sequential lamp to command MUTCD ITE and MASH crash standards, the intelligent wireless sequential LED taper guide - developed for continual delineation and better driver recognition of merging work zone tapers - is expected to have a major impact in the fields of both temporary traffic control and incident lane management in the coming year.

The new, best in class, B4CH-SL Solar Type B and B4DH-DB and AC4D-DB detachable battery base LED lamps also generated a significant amount of interest on our US partner booth Dicke Safety Products. Unipart Dorman was commissioned to design all three products as part of the expansion of the Dicke Workzone lamp portfolio.
The detachable base battery lamps allow contractors to install the LED lamp head at various sign heights, whilst the battery remains at road level - improving both crash safety worthiness and also ease of battery replacement.
The B4DH-SL Solar Type B Lamp with its optimized solar battery cell designed into the lens circuitry (leaving the D cells as back up for days where solar insolation is not available) will set new industry standards in that it will only require 2 D Cells to be fitted to work year round in any location within the USA with a battery changeout recommended only once every 12 months.
ATSSA's 46th Annual Convention & Traffic Expo is the premier event for more than 3000 roadway safety professionals and transportation officials from across the USA and around the globe.
